Archive searches

Archival searches are the basis of professional historical or genealogical research. Archives store documents that allow us to reconstruct the history of a family or area based on verified sources: birth records, census records, confessional records, court and land deeds, military documents, population censuses, etc.

• analysis of available information and formation of a research strategy;
• search for documents in state, regional, and industry archives;
• work with metric books of different denominations;
• processing of act, property and administrative sources;
• copying and systematization of found materials;
• preparation of an analytical report explaining the historical context.

We work with Ukrainian archives and, if necessary, with foreign institutions. Each found document not only confirms the facts, but also opens new pages of family history - names, dates, social status, place of residence and life circumstances of ancestors.
